sometimes you gotta stick with what you know

This early generation polyester is a hidden gem for competitive players who’s arms can handle a firm string. I know a lot of millenials who grew up with racquets strung with polyester in the mains and “cough” nylon in the crosses.

However unlike most of the 1st gen polyesters which were insanely stiff and lost 40-60% of their tension within an hour, I’ve found these 2 strings to perform EXTREMELY well. In fact they play VERY similar to a lot of 2nd or 3rd generation polyesters. The only difference is that they deaden VERY quickly (about 1 hour of play for me). But once the string deadens (drops tension, looses its pop), I’ve found their playability is stable for the remainder of their lifespan. Unlike Luxilon ALU Power or RPM Blast where the control and tension drops off a cliff after just a few hours of playing.

These strings have sharp edges to really grip the ball for loads of spin. Comes in black and gold. The black is lower powered and a little stiffer. The gold is higher powered and the tiniest bit softer.

And as always, I can definitely recommend PEEK in the crosses for a gut-like feel and comfort but insane amounts of spin.

Comfort 40%
Durability 80%
Power 50%
Spin 85%
